22 Filipinos in the UAE graduate from Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship program

DUBAI, UAE — Twenty-two Filipinos have graduated on July 18, 2026 from the Ateneo School of Government’s Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship Program (ALSE OF-LIFE) in the United Arab Emirates.

Batch 155 is composed of Filipinos working in various industries and are based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE; Doha, Qatar; Muscat, Oman and Mozambique in Southern Africa.

His Excellency Alfonso A. Ver, Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, served as the guest speaker at the hybrid ceremony, which was held at Premier Inn Dubai Ibn Battuta Hotel and via Zoom, attended by graduates based in Qatar, former UAE Ambassador Her Excellency Grace Princesa, secretariat and graduates’ families.

He commended everyone’s hardwork and reminded the budding entrepreneurs to always remember that their projects are not just for profit but for their local communities and the Philippines as well.

The ALSE OF-LIFE program seeks to empower Filipino migrants and their families in leadership, financial literacy, and social entrepreneurship.
