Fil-Italian Gymnast Bags Silver, Bronze Medals in Spain

Valencia, Spain — Filipina-Italian rhythmic gymnast Jasmine Althea Ramilo won two medals at the 2nd Phase of the Liga Iberdrola – 3rd Division in Puerto de Sagunto, Valencia, Spain, on May 25, 2025.

Representing Club Ritmica Elegance, Ramilo, 17, earned a silver medal in clubs and a bronze in ball after delivering impressive performances.

These achievements added to her growing list of accolades, highlighting her dedication and skill in rhythmic gymnastics.

In addition to her podium finishes, Ramilo received a monetary award, acknowledging her outstanding performances during the competition.

Her success not only brings pride to her club but also to the Philippines, as she continues to represent the nation in international events.

Ramilo's journey in rhythmic gymnastics has been marked by significant milestones.

Last February 2, 2025, Ramilo won three medals, including a gold, in the International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament – Olympic 74 Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria.

She made history in 2023 by becoming the first Filipina gymnast to win a medal at the Asian Championships, securing a bronze in the club's event.

Her continued success in competitions like the Liga Iberdrola underscores her commitment to excellence and her potential for future achievements in the sport.
