PARIS, France — Their angelic voices filled the air captivating the audience, leaving everyone in awe.

They are the AcapElles, an all female ensemble in Paris, including 4 Filipinas, performing a genre-spanning a cappella repertoire and combining refined vocal work with a warm, collaborative artistic identity. They just had their free concert entitled “And So It Goes” at the American Church in Paris last Oct. 11, 2026 with a repertoire from sacred, classical, OPM to jazz and pop. “And So It Goes” is a famous ballad included in their repertoire, a brand-new arrangement making its world premiere with Acapelles. Charley, founder of AcapElles, was excited with the line up of songs, “Well, we chose this repertoire because we like singing different kinds of genre and obviously we want to entice people to love acapella music as well but a lot of people have different types of music as well, so we want to cater to everybody’s favorite.”

Noum, one of the original members of the group, is happy to stay with this group of ladies whom she considers as friends, “I learned apart from the music, harmonies and so on blending voices, it’s also Filipino culture. I am from Madagascar and it’s very similar to mine.”

For the new member Lisa who’s used to sing with other groups, she loves to be with the AcapElles, “It’s been great, I feel good to meet such incredible people and they included me right away, so lovely and nice.”

AcapElles also include friends in their concert to add up to the flavor of harmony and Dennis Astorga has been an original friend from the start, “I feel good because my first love for music came from choral music, that’s how I started singing in the Phils. It’s very refreshing especially with these girls who are equally passionate about music and all of them are trained musically.”

“Super bravo po. First time ko manood ng ganitong concert kasi yung mga pinapanood ko before ung mga ibang klaseng concert pero ito , the best. Sana may mga susunod pa,”said Vyann, one of the spectators.

Nora, who also saw it for the first time can’t hide her admiration for the group, “Ang ganda, super galing at talagang very professional ang kanilang pagkanta at talagang marerelax ka.”

A French woman from the audience was all praises with the show “It’s my second time to watch Acapelles and it’s pure magic, the voices are magnificent and adorable.”

As the song “And So It Goes”, life changes, eras come and go, chapters unfold and somehow, the music goes on.
