Bronze Monument ni Dr. Jose Rizal, Pasisinayaan sa Colorado Springs

MANILA, PHILIPPINES —Pasisinayaan sa Colorado Springs sa Estados Unidos ang isang 6-foot bronze monument ni Dr. Jose Rizal.

Sa isang pahayag, inanunsyo ng Dr. Jose Rizal Legacy International Foundation (DJRLIF) na ang dedication ceremony ay mahalagang cultural event na ipagdiriwang ang legacy ni Rizal.

Ang monumento ay sculpted ng Filipino artists na sina Elaine Antonio Bordeaux at Fritz Silorio, at simbolo ng tapang, edukasyon at pakikipaglaban sa kalayaan ni Pepe.

Ayon sa DJRLIF, ang installation ay bahagi ng lumalawak na Dr. Jose Rizal Monument Movement, isang global initiative ng Foundation para isulong ang mga turo ni Dr. Rizal.

“This project is a testament to the enduring influence of Dr. Rizal and the strength of the Filipino spirit here in Colorado,” ayon kay Elaine Antonio Bordeaux, presidente ng Dr. Jose Rizal Legacy International Foundation.

Aniya, "We honor not just his memory, but the collective efforts of our community in keeping his ideals alive.”

Gaganapin ang dedication ceremony ng bronze monument ni Rizal sa July 27 sa George Fellows Park ng 10:00 a.m.

Imbitado naman ang Filipino community sa Bayanihan Gala ng 6:00 p.m. sa DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton sa Colorado Springs.

Tampok sa Gala ang cultural performances, formal dinner, at tributes sa spirit ng bayanihan. Maaaring bilhin ang Gala tickets sa impormasyong inilahad ng foundation sa kanilang socia media account.
