Philippine Embassy To Bring Services To OFWs In Al Ahsa, 19-20 September

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia—The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh has announced it will hold an "Embassy-on-Wheels" mission in Al Ahsa this weekend, September 19-20, 2025, to provide essential services to the large Filipino community in the Eastern Province.

The outreach mission aims to make consular and professional services more accessible to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who find it difficult to travel to the main embassy in Riyadh. The two-day event will offer crucial services, including passport renewals, notarization of documents, and registration for the Social Security System (SSS) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

This mobile mission is part of the embassy's commitment to ensuring that all Filipinos in the Kingdom have access to government services without the burden of long and costly travel. OFWs in the region are encouraged to prepare their documents in advance and take advantage of this convenient opportunity.
