
Filipino Artists Showcase Artworks At Business Art Fair 2025, Paris
PARIS, France—DIWA, a collective exhibition featuring ten Filipino artists and a fashion designer from France, the Netherlands and Manila showcased Filipino art and culture in the recently concluded Business Art Fair 2025 held last Oct. 24-26 at Espace Nesle.
Diwa, meaning essence celebrates the creativity and resilience of the Filipino diaspora-artists who are though far from home, continue to express their roots and inner light thru contemporary art. Each piece tells a story of migration, identity and belonging, sharing stories of culture and connection.

Organizer Sheelah Chu is amazed with the ingenuity of the Pinoy artists, she said, “Kung makikita nyo po ang mga artworks po ng ating kapwa Pilipino napaka polyvalent. Marami po silang kayang gawin, meron po tayong paper cut, acrylic, ibat iba po ang subject, meron din tayong sculpture na galing sa discarded cardboards. Sobrang proud po ako sa ating mga Pinoy artists."



The DIWA artists are composed of Sheelah Chu(Organizer), Leslie Farol Aranas’Organizer), Phel Mar, Bong Canuel, Miguel Castro, , Francis Eric Dimarucut, Veraldo Guevarra, Paw Molera and Simon Ariel Vasquez(Fashion Designer).
Other Pinoy artists in the Business Art Fair that showcased one hundred artists and creators included Lovelie Albarracin(Curator), Viviane Mauske, Cecil Lane, Ma. Cristi Renee Person, Rg Salazar, Frederick Epistola-(ARTSHOW Philippines), Marlyn Campos, Golda delos Santos Alves, Elvin Perocho Vitor, Valeria Machado, Juan El Pintor and Aleks Ogana. Elvin Perocho Vitor, a visual artist from Bohol showed in his artworks the culture and identity of being a Boholano.

ARTSHOW Philippines presented “Visages Comme Histoires” which highlights the human face as a vessel of stories-identity, resilience, joy and shared experience. Delegates present were Anne Canceran, anna Kristina Villanueva and Rosie Castel.
Philippine Ambassador Eduardo José A. de Vega graced the show with live performance from Tenor Miguel Castro and violinist Eliot Chu.
