
Filipino Food Showcased At WIC Annual Charity Bazaar In Jakarta
JAKARTA—The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta showcased Filipino food and other products at the 56th Annual Charity Bazaar in Jakarta Convention Center on November 19-20, 2025, organized by the Women’s International Club (WIC).
The Philippine booth showcased Filipino food such as chicken adobo, bibingka, puto cheese, biko, and kucinta, as well as other Philippine products.

The WIC aims to support social welfare institutions and university scholarships of deserving Indonesian students.
“Currently, WIC supports 300 seniors and 250 children from different social welfare institutions (home for the elderly & orphanages) on a five-year rolling period and 50 university scholarship students,” Jakarta-based Filipina expat Marynessa San Jose serves as the First Secretary of WIC said.

The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta is one of the 41 embassies in the WIC Annual Charity Bazaar participants.
The event was formally opened by the Second Lady of the Republic of Indonesia Mrs. Selvi Gibran Rakabuming on November 19, 2025.
