PASADENA, California—Pop Diva Kuh Ledesma and daughter Isabella Gonzalez will hold a benefit concert for pastors and missionaries on October 11, 2025,6PM, at the First Church of the Nazarene (PazNaz) in Pasadena, California. The event is a fundraiser organized by the JIR (Jesus Is Risen) Foundation led by businessman and realtor Henry Chen to support some 38 Filipino Christian pastors who are working hard to spread the Gospel of God globally.

Dubbed as “Fun, Deep, Inspirational”, the concert will also feature special guest performers: Dingdong Avanzado, Donita Rose Palad, and Felson Palad. This event is part of a concert series for a cause that Kuh and her daughter, Isabella are holding in various locations this month. The tour includes performances in California and Sydney, Australia. The tour began last Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Historic BAL Theatre in San Leandro, California. Inigo Pascual, son of Piolo Pascual, was a special guest at this concert.

In Australia, they are also scheduled to perform on October 19, 2025, at Bowman Hall in Sydney and another is set for October 29, 2025, at the Rixon Theatre in Perth. Ledesma said she is looking forward to this concert as she gets to perform with her daughter again. “I am excited to be able to sing with my daughter. It’s my dream and it’s my dream as well for her to be able to give God the glory for her talent,” Ledesma told the TFCN during the pre-concert meet and greet event yesterday Octobef 7 at the Banquet Hall of the First Church of the Nazarene in Pasadena, California.

Being able to perform in over 1,000 concerts worldwide and deliver inspirational and motivational talks, the award-winning Ledesma said being able to help the JIR Foundation is so fulfilling. Ledesma was the first Filipino artist to win the prestigious Salem Music Award in London in 1989.

For her part, Isabella said that performing with her mother is like “coming home and is very comforting”. Isabella, a singer and an artist in her own right, reminded people especially fellow Filipinos to always remember to turn to God especially in times of difficulties. “Keep holding on to Jesus in these uncertain times. Keep reading the Bible,” she said.

Henry Chen, on the other hand, urged and thanked our kababayans in supporting events like these which are aimed at helping Christian workers and missionaries to spread the word of God to the world. “The JIR Foundation is doing once a year a fundraising concert to support Filipino missionaries. Thank you very much for your support,” he said.
