Oldest Fil-Am Employees Organization In LA Elects New officers

LOS ANGELES, California—Los Angeles County Filipino American Employees Association (LACFAEA) has elected a new set of officers for 2026.

Established in 1969, LACFAEA is the longest running Filipino-American Employees Association (government offices and positions within LA County). It is formed to preserve Filipino cultural heritage and promote empowerment, respect and equal rights for Flipino-American employees.

The new leaders of LACFAEA are expected to continue to uphold the organization's time-honored mission of fostering brotherhood, unity, and camaraderie among officers and members.

They also committed to extend tireless efforts to provide access to better opportunities, promote the general welfare of its members, and secure a brighter future for all.

Newly elected LACFAEA officers are: President: Adol Aguayon (Department of Health); Vice President 1: Edwin Martinez (Dept. of Public Health); Vice President 2: Napoleon Sadsad (Dept. of Children and Family Services); Secretary: Audra Galang (Retired, County Board of Supervisors); Treasurer: Laura Sakihara (Retired, County Registrar's Recorders Office); Auditor: Angelica Martin (Probation Department); and PRO: Evangeline Cruz (Retired, Department of State).
