PAL Expands North America Operations In 2026
LONG BEACH, California—Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country's flag carrier, will be launching four additional flights weekly between Los Angeles and Manila starting June 2026, bringing its flight to these routes 18 times a week.
During the company's annual Christmas party for industry partners and friends last Dec. 11, 2025 at The Reef in Long Beach, California, PAL OIC director of sales and marketing for Los Angeles Mitty Abellar Torres said these additional flights would allow their clients to have more flight choices.

"More choices for your clients… and definitely more workload for our LA team.
good luck to all my LA team colleagues! But we know you’re more than ready for the challenge," Torres said.
Torres also announced another exciting culmination of the one of the airline's expansion programs.
"I’d like to share some exciting updates from PAL. The 1st of 9 brand-new Airbus A350-1000 is arriving this month!," he said. "This state-of-the-art aircraft can accommodate 382 passengers in a tri-class configuration, with distinct cabins for Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class travelers. We’ll update you soon on where this aircraft will be deployed," he noted.
The LA-based PAL official also added that aside from the additional fleet and more flight options, they will be adding more new routes early next year.
"We are preparing to open new routes in 2026, creating more opportunities for tourism, business, and global connectivity. The first of these is Palau this coming March," he said.
This year's Christmas celebration, he said, is also their first time to have their toy drive which will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Charities.
"There’s so much to be thankful for this year and what better way to show gratitude than to give back and pay forward. With that said, thank you to everyone who supported our first toy drive," he said.
Torres also thanked PAL travel agent partners and the media for all their countless contributions to PAL's successful operations in North America.
"Thank you for consistently sharing Philippine Airlines updates on your platforms, amplifying our announcements, and helping us reach more travelers. Your support ensures our stories—and the story of the Philippines—reach audiences far and wide. We truly appreciate your dedication," he said.
"To our trade partners and Filipino community leaders, maraming salamat po for your collaboration throughout the year. We look forward to even more successful partnerships and bigger wins together in 2026," he added.
Established in 1941 by the Tan family, PAL has been consistently being recognized as Asia Pacific's number 1 On-Time Airline in 2025.
