SAN FRANCISCO, California—The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco (PCGSF) has reported that it has delivered over 32,000 essential consular services for the year 2025.

In its Facebook page, PCGSF said these consular services to the Filipino community included passports, notarial services, civil registry transactions, visas, and dual citizenship applications.

"These milestones highlight the dedication of the Consulate team and its partners in delivering accessible, reliable, and people-centered public service throughout the year," the PCGSF said. "Thank you to our community for your continued trust and cooperation," it added.

PCGSF conducted some 11 consular services missions across its jurisdiction last year.

The Consulate said it also extended more than 1,100 Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) services, providing support and assistance to Filipinos in need, while maintaining strong public trust as reflected in its positive client feedback ratings.

Specifically, the Consulate recorded a total of 1,153 assistance interventions and support actions in 2025, reflecting the Consulate’s sustained operational readiness and commitment to client-centered service.

Key ATN service highlights include: 665 individuals assisted, representing total beneficiaries served across various cases; 18 individuals provided with repatriation assistance, enabling safe return to the Philippines; 5 jail/detention facility visits conducted to monitor the welfare of detained Filipino nationals; 358 assistance actions extended to detained OFWs and persons serving prison sentences; 178 individuals provided with free legal consultations, including 3 legal assistance fund beneficiaries; 79 cases handled involving deceased overseas Filipinos, including coordination with families and authorities; and 418 welfare assistance and support interventions delivered to vulnerable clients.

Meanwhile, the PCGSF also urged its clients to secure appointment in advance for all consular services prior to visiting the consulate.

It said appointment may be booked at pcgsanfrancisco.as.me. For passport service, appointments may be secured at passport.gov.ph.

On Feb. 6, the PCGSF will also conduct a free legal clinic with the Internal Bar of the Philippines California Chapter.

Clients will be given free one-on-one consultations with IBP California legal experts on a first-come, first-served basis on various legal concerns pertaining to Philippine laws on family, property, lang ownership and employment; criminal issues, and UF family and immigration laws.
