Ph Consulate Sa Dubai At Emirates NBD Lumagda Ng Kasunduan Para Sa Mas Mabilis At Ligtas Na Card Payment System

DUBAI—Mas bibilis na nang halos doble o 40 percent ang serbisyo at mas secure ang mga transaksyon sa lahat ng consular services gamit ang credit o debit card sa pagbabayad dahil sa nilagdaang kasunduan ng Philippine Consulate General Dubai at ng Emirates NBD.

Naganap ang signing of card payment facility agreement noong ika-22 ng Oktubre sa Rizal Hall ng Philippine Consulate General sa Dubai.

Kada buwan umaabot sa halos sampung libong transactions ang natala dito lang sa PCG Dubai.

“I think there is nothing more secure than that. And course we are in partnership with Emirates NBD. We thank NBD for this chance to offer this service to our countrymen. NBD is one of the UAE most trusted and technologically advanced banks,” pahayag ni Consul General Marford Angeles sa press conference.

Dagdag ni Congen Angeles, ang transaksyon ay fully encrypted gamit ang proseso ng PCI and DSS certified networks na compliant sa Philippine and UAE laws.

Inihayag din ni Angeles na safe ang mga data o information ng mga cliente kada gamit ng card.

‘Every payment generates an official and electronic receipts insuring transparency, flexibility and protection from clients and staff. The consulate also ensures that all data retention and deletion protocols will follow the UAE law and ENBD’s strict internal policies with explicit commitments to complete the security disposals of data,” paliwanag pa ni Angeles sa Media.

Ito ika niya ay parte ng programa ng konsulado para ma-modernisa ang kanilang operational systems at ito rin ay sunod sa pahayag at direktibo ng Pangulo ng Pilipinas na si Ferdinand Bong Bong Marcos, Jr na gawing mas efficient at mabilis ang serbisyo ng gobyerno lalo’t gamit ang teknolohiya.

Ang lagdaan ng kasunduan ay pinangunahan ni Congen Marford Angeles ng Philippine Consulate General sa Dubai at Northern Emirates, Hamad Zayed, Group Head of Business Banking kasama si Shailender Kidambi, Head ng Trade and Cash at Roshan Lean, Senior Relationship Manager mula sa Emirates NBD Bank.

Kasunog ng paglagda ng agreement, mag dedeploy ang Emirates NBD Bank ng payment machines sa konsulado sa darating na mga linggo para simula ng magamit ang credit o debit card sa pagbabayad. Ganon paman, maari paring mag bayad ng cash ang sinumang pipili ng option na ito.
