PH Showcases Investment Opportunities In Philippine Tourism At WTM London 2025

LONDON, UK—Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco invited global investors to join the Philippines’ sustainable transformation at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, highlighting tourism as both an economic lifeline and a symbol of hope.

Frasco cited the Marcos administration’s Philippine Development Plan and the CREATE MORE Act, which offer fiscal incentives—such as tax holidays and import exemptions—for sustainable and inclusive tourism projects.

She emphasized the strong role of public-private partnerships in modernizing airports, developing tourism infrastructure, and enhancing destinations. The Philippines, she said, continues to invest in both “hard and soft” infrastructure, from Tourist Rest Areas to community training under the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence.

The Philippine delegation joined global tourism leaders at the recently concluded WTM London 2025 this week, to promote the country’s growing investment potential.
