Philippine Consulate In Dubai And Northern Emirates’ New Consul General Meets The Press

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates—Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III, the newly appointed consul-general of the Philippines to Dubai and the Northern Emirates has laid out his three-fold plans during a first-of-its-kind meet-and-greet with the members of the Philippine press at the Consulate.

Leading his flagship plans is effective consular services— providing convenience and efficiency in every transactions. Looking ahead, ConGen Ambro aims digitalization of services, taking inspiration to its host nation that has adapted a full-scale digitalization in government transactions subsequently speeding up processes.

Rounding up ConGen’s three-fold plans are purposeful engagement with the Filipino community and strategic representation of the Philippine interest.

He took note of the noble project of his predecessor Marford Angeles, the previous Consul General in Dubai and Northern Emirates—housing the great artworks of Filipino talents in the Consulate, which he says were reflections of Pinoy hardships and success stories. Enciso says he intends to expand these kind of activities.

As the Philippine emissary to the emirate, he highlighted strengthening the ties between the Philippines and Dubai which he hopes to further boost both economically as well as the workforce.

ConGen Ambro also stressed the integral part of the media in helping the Consulate disseminate important information as well Philippine government related activities.

Joined by Trade Commissioner Vichael Angelo D. Roaring, Labor Attaché Atty John Rio A. Bautista and Vice Consul Jim Jimeno, ConGen also disclosed the forthcoming visit of Philippine President BongBong Marcos to the UAE this January.
