DOHA, Qatar—The Pinas Cargo Qatar team visited the Philippine Embassy in Doha and had a courtesy call on Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Mardomel Celo D. Melicor and First Secretary and Consul Cassandra B. Sawadjaan.

Melicor welcomed the group as they briefed him and Sawadjaan on the latest developments in the operations of Pinas Cargo that opened in Qatar recently.

It may be recalled, the Ambassador was one of the guests of honor who attended the grand opening and blessing of Pinas Cargo Qatar led by its Founder and CEO Marlyn Castro alongside HR and Marketing Manager Rumelyn Aribon.

Melicor commended the group for bringing the trusted and reliable PINAS brand of service to overseas Filipinos in Qatar.

A Decade of Service, Now in Qatar

Pinas Cargo, which started in the United Arab Emirates more than 11 years ago, has become one of the most recognized Filipino-owned cargo companies in the region. Its expansion into Qatar marks another chapter in its journey of growth, aiming to provide affordable, secure, and reliable balikbayan box services to thousands of OFWs.

During the courtesy visit, Team Qatar proudly reported that the first batch of balikbayan shipment from Doha has successfully arrived in the Philippines and several families of OFWs have received their boxes. This achievement, they noted, symbolizes Pinas Cargo’s strong commitment to ensuring that every shipment safely reaches the loved ones of OFWs back home.

Commitment to the Community

Beyond cargo services, Pinas Cargo Qatar highlighted its active role in supporting Filipino community initiatives and events in the country. Through its Merchant Partnership Program and Organization Partnership Program, the company has collaborated with businesses and organizations to further integrate into the community.

In addition, the installation of several Box Stations across Qatar makes Pinas Cargo services more accessible to OFWs who need a convenient way to send their balikbayan boxes. These initiatives reflect the company’s mission to not only provide excellent service but also to foster connections with the Filipino community.

Present during the courtesy visit were Raquelyn Manaloto, Database Management In-Charge; Beniedick Natividad, Marketing Executive; Randy Lamsen, Senior Marketing Executive and Operations Manager of Pinas Travel; and Arlene Paguio, Customer Service Representative. Completing the team (not in photo) are Eingelbert Losito, Managing Partner; Federico Castro, Sales Collector; and Jeremie Castro, Sales Collector.
