Pinay Group Holds Unique Beads and Charms Party in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, California — Three Los Angeles-based Filipina friends recently held an event dubbed as "La Grasya Charm Bar Party" at The Ovelo Hollywood on August 1, 2026.

Grace Pasiliao, Katrina Vallarta, and Tracy Reyes of La Grasya Beads and Charms have joined their creative and ingenious minds to host this interactive charm bar experience, blending custom jewelry design with hands-on party vibes where guests crafted personalized keepsakes.

Choose Your Base: Guests started by selecting chains, bracelets, or bag clips.Select Your Charms: Attendees browsed an array of unique beads and individual charms.

Design and Assemble: Participants planned their unique layouts and assembled the pieces to wear home.

Every custom piece reflected personal milestones and individual style.

Community Connection: The gathering offered a creative space for friends and local trendsetters to bond.

Reyes, who transitioned from being an HR employee to a jewelry-making business a few years ago, said they want to offer this fun and unique experience and at the same time allow the guests to create a lasting, memorable experience.

"As Filipinos, we are known for being creative and artistic. We want to highlight this Filipino trait while offering a different kind of gathering of creative and expressive minds wherein you can also create wearable memories," said Reyes, who now has a Master's degree in business administration and is applying what she learned to what she loves to do, which is creating customized jewelry pieces.

Pasiliao, who loves organizing parties, is inviting our kababayans here to continue to show support for small local Filipino businesses.

"Nothing beats the Bayanihan culture of Filipinos. We help each other. Please support our small business, which mirrors our Philippine culture and heritage," said Pasiliao, who has worked in the jewelry industry for more than eight years now.

Vallarta, who works in a hybrid environment, said she recently fell in love with jewelry making.

"I am very eager to learn new styles and techniques, and I want to share my creations," Vallarta added.
