
World Dance Champion Femme MNL Wows Guests at PGMG Induction Night
CERRITOS, California — Femme MNL, the trailblazing all-queer Filipino dance group from Manila who won the gold medal in the 2026 Mega Crew Division of the Hip Hop International World Championship in Arizona, wowed the guests at the Philippine Global Media Group (PGMG) Induction of Officers and Gala Night last August 8, 2026.
Held at Sheraton Cerritos Hotel's Crystal Ballroom, select members of the famous group rendered their award-winning dance performance.
The dance group's members interviewed by The Filipino Correspondent Network (TFCN) said they are honored to be part of this momentous PGMG event with an audience packed with influential journalists, community and business leaders, and global Filipinos.
They also thanked all who supported and urged the Filipino community to continue to help Filipinos with world-class talent pursue their dreams of becoming recognized around the globe.
They likewise encouraged young Filipinos who have exceptional talents to strive for the best to be able to achieve goals.
In early 2026, the crew won the Gold Medal in the Mega Crew Division at the Philippine Hip Hop Dance Championship, earning the honor of representing the Philippines at the Hip Hop International (HHI) World Championship in the US.
The renowned Manila-based, all-queer dance collective from the Philippines also gained massive local and international fame following their breakout run on Pilipinas Got Talent in 2025.
Prior to winning the championship in World HipHop Dance conception in Arizona early this month, Femme MNL also won 2nd Runner-Up in the Big Crew Division at Dance Supremacy International 2025.
They also frequently collaborate with prominent artists like Vice Ganda and perform as headliners at major events like World of Dance Philippines.
