Your Passport to Europe: EHEF 2025 Opens New Doors For Filipino Students
MANILA—The path to a world-class education in Europe just got wider for Filipino students. This year's European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2025, organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines and its Member State Embassies, is set to be the largest and most diverse yet, welcoming new participating countries and groundbreaking academic programs.
A Growing Map of Opportunities
In a significant expansion of its offerings, EHEF 2025 features three new EU Member States for the first time: Latvia, Romania, and Slovakia. Their addition to the roster means Filipino students now have an even greater array of academic disciplines, cultures, and destinations to explore across the European Union.
This year, the fair represents 14 EU nations in total, including established favorites like the Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Hungary, The Netherlands, Austria, Finland, and Sweden. Visitors will have the chance to meet with representatives from a staggering 97 European higher education institutions, embassies, and cultural institutes—all under one roof.
“Each year, EHEF grows not just in size but also in depth. With new EUMS states joining us and new programme sessions expanding our offerings, we are opening more pathways for Filipino students and researchers to connect, learn, and thrive in the EU," said H.E Massimo Santoro, European Union Ambassador. "This reflects the EU’s continuous dedication to making education a bridge between nations and cultures.”
Beyond the Classroom: New Program Sessions
EHEF 2025 is more than just a college fair; it’s a gateway to cutting-edge research and global collaboration. The event will introduce new program sessions designed to inspire future academics and researchers:
Copernicus Programme: Learn about the EU’s flagship Earth Observation program and how Filipino students can contribute to environmental monitoring and data analysis.
EURAXESS: Discover the EU’s platform dedicated to supporting researcher mobility and career development, offering pathways for Filipino researchers to collaborate globally.
Erasmus+ Capacity Building: A special session will underscore the EU’s commitment to fostering innovation and network building within the Philippine higher education sector through the Erasmus+ CBHE program.
Why Choose Europe?
